Our Tin Ware is 100% American made out of lead free materials to ensure safety and durability, most of it is made right here in Our fine state of Missouri. Every item is made to be used whether at home or in camp, made to give you years of service.
Here are a few things to remember about using tin ware for cooking:
If used over a fire it’s best to use a grate or fire set and keep the Kettle on the edge of the heat.
DO NOT LET THE KETTLE BOIL DRY! You and it will be much happier if you keep liquid in it while using.
Hand Wash and dry your kettle. DO NOT PUT IN THE DISHWASHER
If you decide to store your Kettle for a bit, give it a light rub with food grade mineral oil on a cloth. Your cup will last for many years of service if taken care of properly. Your Kettle will naturally get a darkened patina with use.
Keep in mind tin items are tin plated steel. They will develop a patina and get a bit of rust or oxidation especially along seams. Just clean with a soft cloth and some non-scratch soft cleanser.
