Casaquin En Juste/Short Jacket
The Casaquin En Juste was worn from the mid to late 18th century .This jacket is short and fitted with 3/4 length sleeves. It is hip length and ties up the front for added comfort.
The Casaquin en juste is a french hip length jacket. This jacket was worn from 1770-1785 and was very economical since it was not a gown it didn't have the added fabric of going all the way down the back to the ankle. These were very comfortable daytime clothing for any woman.
