This pad lock is made of steel or iron. The lock measures 3 1/2" tall and 2" wide with the hasp being 1/4". The lock comes with 2 keys and each lock has a different key. The color of the locks are black. These do not work like a modern lock where the hasp pops open when unlocking the lock or when pressing the hasp in to lock it, the hasp does not snap in. The key locks and unlocks the lock hasp.This would make a great addition to your 18th century trunk or ammo box.
