This waxed linen thread has many uses from sewing shooting pouches to sewing on a button. This wax linen thread is 5 cord, right twist. The amount of thread is 4 oz. I do not know how many yards that converts into. Being it is 5 corded you can split the thread for those smaller sewing projects that does not require a heavy thread. We use this thread and it performs very well. I also carry some of this thread in my sewing kit when out on the trail for repairs. We also have have used this as fishing line.
